Anna Mac’s Design N.2 rug explores abstraction through a subtle balance of form, color, and composition. Structured around overlapping planes and softened contours, the work unfolds in a restrained palette where deep blue contrasts with delicate tones of beige, blush, and pale green. The composition suggests a quiet tension between geometry and organic movement, creating a calm yet visually engaging presence.

Handcrafted in New Zealand wool by the Boccara workshop, the rug emphasizes material richness and surface depth. The natural softness of the fiber enhances the transitions between color fields, allowing the composition to evolve gently with light and perspective. The large scale (320 x 320 cm) reinforces its architectural dimension, positioning the rug as a central element within the space.

With Design N.2, Anna Mac develops a contemporary language where painting and textile intersect. The work functions as both a visual composition and a spatial anchor, bringing harmony, balance, and understated sophistication to the interior.
