Atelier Boccara
Moving Between Tradition and Innovation
Atelier Boccara is dedicated to translating artistic vision into woven form. Working closely with contemporary and modern artists, the studio produces limited-edition and bespoke rugs that extend the language of painting and drawing into space.
Each piece is handwoven using traditional techniques, reinterpreted for today. The result is work that exists between art and design — tactile, architectural, and grounded in its environment.

The Approach
Every rug is produced using the highest quality materials, including New Zealand wool and silk, selected for their durability, softness, and natural luminosity.
Atelier Boccara moves between tradition and innovation. From the initial design to the final weave, each step is carefully considered to preserve the integrity of the artist’s vision while adapting it to textile.
Subtle variations in texture, density, and finish give each piece a distinct presence, reinforcing its handmade nature.
Presence
Designed with interiors in mind, each piece is developed in relation to scale, proportion, and composition, ensuring it integrates naturally within a space.
Once placed, it establishes rhythm and balance, interacting with architecture, light, and furniture to define the space itself.
Bespoke
In addition to limited editions, Atelier Boccara offers fully customizable works.
Designs can be adapted in scale, color, and composition to suit specific interiors and architectural contexts. Whether working from existing models or developing new commissions, each project is approached individually with great care.
Each rug functions as both artwork and an integral element of the space it inhabits.
