Held beneath the spectacular glass roof of the Grand Palais, the fair has become a must-attend event for collectors, museum professionals, interior designers, architects, and art enthusiasts seeking exceptional works of art.
Its commitment to quality, scholarship, and artistic excellence makes Fine Arts Paris the ideal setting for Boccara Gallery and its long-standing dedication to twentieth-century textile art.
Exceptional Modern Tapestries on Display
For this edition of Fine Arts Paris, Boccara Gallery will unveil a remarkable selection of modern tapestries, showcasing iconic works created by internationally celebrated artists and woven by France’s most prestigious manufactories.
One of the highlights of the exhibition will be La Licorne Passe sur la Mer by Le Corbusier. Woven in 1958 by Atelier Pinton Frères in Aubusson, this exceptional handwoven wool tapestry was produced in an edition of only five examples. Its distinguished provenance includes Galerie La Demeure in Paris, the renowned Edith Hooper Collection, and, most recently, the Didier Marien Private Collection.
Visitors will also discover Jour Balte by Pierre Alechinsky, Serpent Noir by Sonia Delaunay, and one of the celebrated tapestries from Man Ray’s Revolving Doors series. Together, these masterpieces illustrate how some of the twentieth century’s greatest artists embraced tapestry as a powerful artistic medium, combining modern creativity with centuries of French weaving expertise.
